I am a local Rhode Island freelance cake artist, with over 7 years of professional experience. I trained at Johnson and Whales University in baking and pastry arts, and have worked as a baker and cake artist at such large bakeries as: The Baker’s Rack, Gregg’s, and Pastiche Fine Desserts.

I was also Head Cake Artist in charge wedding cakes at Frasche’s Bakery of Newport. I began working freelance when my son was born, which has now bloomed into my own small business CakesRI! I am always working to further perfect my skills and keep up to date with new trends and techniques in the decorating world.
